Lagos Life Official Website: Where to Play Free

lagoslifes.wiki is an independent fan guide. We did not build Lagos Life, we are not affiliated with the developer or with Eliy, and we have no relationship with any of the other sites named below.

The one address you need is https://lagoslife.app — free, in the browser, nothing to download. A second official hostname, lagoslife.eliysites.com, serves that same game. Everything else calling itself "Lagos Life" is a fan guide, a placeholder, or a trap.

The Official Link, Checked on 2026-10-06

We re-tested the official addresses while writing this. All returned HTTP 200:

Official source: Lagos Life Terms of Service — "Lagos Life is an online life-simulation game run by Eliy (eliysites.com)."

Why There Are Two Official Domains

A second hostname usually means a copy, a scam, or an old version. Here it means neither:

• Both declare the same canonical address. Each domain's og:url tag reads https://lagoslife.app — the site is telling search engines that .app is the original.
• Both serve the same numbers. The public statistics endpoint returns the same figures on either hostname, because it is the same backend.
• The operator names the domain. The Terms say the game is run by Eliy at eliysites.com, and lagoslife.eliysites.com is a subdomain of that operator's own domain. Official by attribution, not by resemblance.

Use lagoslife.app everywhere. If the mirror stops loading, nothing is wrong with your account; the game is still at .app.

Every Lagoslife Address Players Type, and What It Is

These are the domains people guess their way to. We checked each on 2026-10-06.

We link none of the lookalike addresses: a link would hand a parked domain a free click and blur the line this page exists to draw.

The One That Looks Most Like Us: lagos-life.wiki

If you arrived from a search result, something above you may have pointed somewhere that looks identical to here.

Our address is lagoslifes.wiki — Lagos, life, then an s.

The site called lagos-life.wiki puts a hyphen between Lagos and life and drops the trailing s. It is a separate website, run by people with nothing to do with us or the developers. Neither site is official; only lagoslife.app is.

The same trap exists in milder form with every guide domain above. A guide can be wrong, out of date, or quietly run by someone else. Reading one is fine; entering your password is not.

You Do Not Need to Download Anything

Lagos Life has never shipped a native app. The official manifest at lagoslife.app/manifest.webmanifest describes a browser app — display: standalone, start_url of /?source=pwa — which is what produces the phone's "Add to Home Screen" icon. There is no App Store or Google Play listing, and /download, /install and /apps all return 404.

Launch coverage records that copycat pages were already telling people to download a "Lagos Life app" the maker never released. The most common question under the hashtag is just "Where can I download that Lagoslife game", asked by a player on 3 October 2026. The answer was, and still is, the browser. The full walkthrough is in downloading Lagos Life.

What You Should See in the First Ten Seconds

The real thing is already alive before you sign up:

• A live world board listing player handles with their status, and a count of 400 homes.
• A server-wide banner naming this week's rule. As of 2026-10-06 it reads "Owambe season is law this week". It rotates weekly, so treat any event name you read elsewhere as belonging to its own week, not this one.
• The elected in-game Governor, shown as Gov @Franka when we checked.
• A cookie notice reading "No ad trackers, ever."
• Two buttons, Sign up and Log in. The landing page and world board are visible without an account; entering the world as a character needs one, and the Terms require you to be 18 or older.

Our guide to what Lagos Life actually is covers the game itself.

How Big It Is Right Now, and Why the Number Moves

Lagos Life launched on 1 October 2026, Nigeria's Independence Day, and crossed a million players within four days, according to TechPoint Africa, which describes a free browser game where players work jobs, pay rent and meet each other in a shared virtual city.

Live figures are worth less than people assume. The official endpoint at lagoslife.app/api/public-stats reported 52,675 players online as of 2026-10-06 01:28 UTC — a snapshot of an instantaneous counter, not a daily average. The landing page runs a separate counter the developer has not defined, so never quote one and present it as the other. We explain the measurement problem in Lagos Life player count and live stats.

If Something About a Link Looks Wrong

The Terms name one support channel: message @shallyr inside Lagos Life. It is the operator's own account and the only official route for a problem with the game.

Three habits cover the rest:

1. Bank details belong in one place only — the in-game wallet top-up, reached from inside the game you already loaded. The Terms state that in-game naira has no real-world value and cannot be cashed out or transferred outside the game.
2. Treat taps on in-game billboards as taps on strangers' adverts. The Terms say it plainly: "Links open sites we don't run; we aren't responsible for them."
3. Assume a token, an investment, or a voucher promising real money is fake. We break down the known scams, including the unofficial $LAGOSLIFE crypto token nobody in the game endorsed, in is Lagos Life safe.

If the game will not load, that is a different problem with its own page: fixes for lag, login and not loading.

FAQ

What is the official website for Lagos Life? https://lagoslife.app. lagoslife.eliysites.com serves the identical game and is also official. No other domain is.

Do I need to download an app or APK? No. It runs in any browser, desktop or phone, free to start. The only install offered is a browser "Add to Home Screen" shortcut.

Is lagoslife.com the official site? No. On 2026-10-06 it returned nothing but a redirect to a /lander domain-for-sale screen. Never enter a password there.

Is it really free? Yes to start, as the official description puts it: "Play free in your browser." In-game naira bought with real money is still not real money — the Terms state it cannot be cashed out.

How do I tell an official page from a fan guide? Official pages carry the game's own interface, live counters and Terms. Fan guides are third-party articles: fine to read, never the place to sign in.

Who actually made Lagos Life? A UK-based Nigerian developer publishing under the handle @Shalom_HeyEliy, with the operation run under the name Eliy. The press disagrees on the surname; we set out the sources in who made Lagos Life.
