About — Lagos Life Guide
An independent, unofficial fan guide
Lagos Life Guide is a fan-made help site for Lagos Life, a free life simulation that runs in your web browser — you play it at the official site, you do not download or install it. The game is described by its own developers as a Sims-style life game set in Lagos: ride danfo, chop amala at Shitta, party at Quilox, survive NEPA, and meet other players.
We are not the developers of Lagos Life. This site is independent and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by the people who build the game, and it has no connection to the official game addresses lagoslife.app or lagoslife.eliysites.com. The domain you are reading now, lagoslifes.wiki, belongs to this guide only. We do not run the game, we do not host game accounts, and we cannot recover, reset or repair an account for you.
What we cover
Our guides are written for people who are already playing or about to start, and they focus on the questions players actually search for:
- where to play, and how to get started with your first character;
- earning in-game money — jobs, running errands and trading;
- rent, bills and the other systems that drain your balance;
- what is going on in the game this week, including rotating events;
- account safety, including which “download” links are real and which are not.
Everything lives under the guides index. If a page does not exist yet, it is because we have not verified how the game actually behaves — we would rather leave a gap than publish a guess.
How we handle live game information
Lagos Life is a live game that changes week to week. Balances, prices, jobs, rent rules and limited-time events all move, and the game's own banner changes as often as every week. That means a guide written today can be out of date next month.
So we hold two rules on this site:
- Live numbers are dated. Any figure that changes — player counts, visit totals, prices, rewards, event names — is published with the date it was checked. If a page says “as of” a given day, that is the day we last confirmed it.
- Unverified means we say so. When we cannot confirm a mechanic, a reward or a schedule, we write that it is unconfirmed rather than filling the gap with a plausible number.
Weekly events are named from the game's own banner at the time of writing and are expected to rotate; a page about one event is a snapshot, not a permanent rule.
Corrections and contact
If something here is wrong, out of date, or describes something the game does not actually do, please tell us — with the date you checked and, where it helps, a screenshot. Corrections are the most useful email we receive, and we would rather fix a page than leave a wrong number standing.
